Rather than relying solely on colour to display information patterns provide a better way for viewers to differentiate information.

The twenty different types of patterns are supported in KoolChart for visually impaired users. You can use the default patterns or choose a pattern file in the JavaScript function.


The sunburst chart is ideal for displaying hierarchical data. Each level of the hierarchy is represented by one ring or circle with the innermost circle as the top of the hierarchy. A sunburst chart without any hierarchical data (one level of categories), looks similar to a doughnut chart.
